Best camera I have ever had. Black Friday Olympus Stylus Tough-6000 Sale Deals 2012. Takes crystal clear pictures and videos underwater. Unfortunately the string attached to the wrist strap was not as durable as the camera itself and now our wonderful camera is at the bottom of the Caribbean Sea. We will definitely be buying another one and will reinforce the string the next time we are in the ocean.
I highly recommend this camera. I’ve had it for about 2 years and have used it on many occasions above and below water. As a digital camera in general there are better ones out there. The lighting will occasionally be off in pictures, but there is a manual setting to adjust it. Images are sharp and high quality.
Underwater it takes great pictures, especially for snorkeling. On one occasion I got an error that it could not read the SD card, so I opened the compartment and found a bit of moisture inside. After cleaning around the gasket (there was a bit of sand) it was fine and I haven’t had a problem since.
Recently I went fishing and lost the camera in a river. I went back the next day to try and find it and luckily it was still sitting at the bottom of the river. If you need a camera you can use in the rain or underwater, this is a fantastic and affordable option.

This camera lives up to expectations. Takes great pictures and holds up to teenage kids. Biggest problem with other cameras the teens would drop and that would be the end. Definitely worth the cost. Functions are easy to use, like the no batteries, plug into computer or wall and you are done.
This is a nice camera, specially I liked what it offered for the price, it takes nice pictures, it is easy to use, I don{t like it though that it always starts on the automatic setting when you turn on the camera even if you changed to scene or something else before, but I guess many people would rather start in auto mode than on their previously set mode in case they forget about it….
